The Wall St. Journal reports many hotel chains have adopted additional fees for early check in and for late check out. It’s about the money. Hotel chains are making up for profits lost during the Pandemic with these sneaky new fees. At some Hyatt hotels the price to stay late goes from 50 to $100 depending on how late you want to check out. So, next time you ask to get to your room early, or if you are thinking about staying late… check with the front desk and see if there is a fee.
